We do not have the transcript from our sermon, but her are some Bible verses on this
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Because the Lord has anointed me
To bring good news to the afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives,
And freedom to prisoners;
that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the
freedom of the glory of the children of God.
1 Cor. 10:29
I mean not your own conscience, but the other man's; for why is my freedom judged
by another's conscience?
It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be
subject again to a yoke of slavery.
For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into
an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
1 Peter 2:16
Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it
as bondslaves of God.
2 Peter 2:19
promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by what a man
is overcome, by this he is enslaved.
For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
The Lord gives grace and glory;
No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
"And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you
up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.
1 Cor. 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I
labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.
2 Cor. 12:9
And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for
power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast
about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good
for edification according to the need of the moment, that it may give grace to
those who hear.
Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive
mercy and may find grace to help in time of need.
For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for
this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and
deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
